WHAT IS THE ROLE OF COA COORDINATOR?

COA begins establishing your program context before your first meeting with your COA After School Coordinator.

The information requested on the application helps us determine the most appropriate Coordinator for your program. Your After School Coordinator is your primary contact at COA for anything you need. He or she is your facilitator, interpreter, problem-solver and coach throughout the process and helps you:

• determine your starting point;
• access COA provided trainings;
• develop a needs-based, realistic timetable;
• interpret COA After School standards;
• answer questions about the recognition process; and facilitate communication and access to resources at COA.
